A daily post of thoughts and ideas inspired by photographs taken with my mobile phone. The twist of these often reflects my interest in our impacts on the environment and the future.
A heartless tree? A home for many, A shelter from storms with no judgement made, Nor rent to pay, And leaves that breathe life into the World. This is a heartlessness I can abide.
Lunch in an old country pub: A beer or a wine and some ordinary grub; You can seldom predict the goodness in it, Which I like 'cos it isn't MacDonalds!
Land, trees and sky: Beauty borne of chaos, Miraculously assembled, for an instant. Reconstructing Eden, Our parallels narrow to nothing, Mapping the future.
Creative, energetic, too many interests, I've been a teacher, a musician, writer, music publisher, financial adviser (!), systems analyst and developer, environmental lobbyist and am qualified in most of the above. If only I'd found my proper career. 2 sons in their 20s and got married for the 2nd time (a surprise to me too) in May 2008 - very happy.
